E-ducks sold to raise money during Engineering Week
The Engineering Week committee will sell e-ducks – small, yellow ducks with the Engineering Week logo on the side – for $1 at each of the Engineering Week events taking place throughout next week.
The committee will donate the proceeds to the Boys and Girls Club of Ames.

Blue Sky Days event Saturday includes run, band
The sixth annual Blue Sky Days event will be Saturday morning at the Beloit-Lutheran Social Service, 1323 Northwestern Ave.
Events will start at 8:30 a.m. with registration for the run, which will start at 9 a.m., and registration for the bike ride and walk at 9 a.m. Other events going on throughout the day will be a band, carnival rides, a giant slide and a showcase of the motorcycle club’s bike.
Beloit is a residential facility for children with mental illnesses and behavior difficulties. Money raised will be used to send the children to summer camps and for their families to visit.
The event has raised $8,000 -$10,000 in the past.
