Ames Police to meet with residents
Ames Police Department officers will hold a meeting with residents at Sterling University Plains on Mortensen Road tonight at 7 in the club house.
The meeting will cover ways to avoid the theft of personal property, alcohol related offenses, the city’s noise ordinance and sexual assaults.
Meetings also will be Wednesday and Thursday nights at the same time. For more information, contact Tom Shelton, community resource officer with the Ames Police Department, at 239-5133.

`Men Flipping Burgers’ today
Men will put on aprons and pick up spatulas today for the Margaret Sloss Women’s Center’s third annual “Men Flipping Burgers” open house.
Students are invited to meet the center’s staff and enjoy a burger courtesy of ISU male celebrities from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sloss House.
A “Golden Spatula Award” will be presented at 12:30 p.m.

Faculty Senate meeting tonight
The ISU Faculty Senate will meet tonight from 7:30 to 9 in Room 260 Scheman Building. The following will be discussed:
