Membership drive for Automotive Engineers today
The Society of Automotive Engineers will hold a membership drive from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today on Central Campus.
They will have a race car display and information available. The membership drive and display will be in front of Marston Hall.

Engineers’ Week wraps up with ball Saturday night
Engineers’ Week 2001 will wrap up with the Engineers’ Ball from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at The Hotel at Gateway Center.
Tickets can be purchased in 308 Marston.

Business college holds barbecue, groundbreaking
The College of Business will have a free barbecue for all business students, faculty and staff from noon to 1:30 p.m. today on the Pearson Green.
The Gerdin Business Building groundbreaking will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday at Union Drive and Knoll Road. The speakers at the event will include Interim Dean of Business Labh Hira; President Gregory Geoffroy; Board of Regents President Owen Newlin; Julie Kaltenheuser, senior in marketing; John Lawson, chairman of the ISU Foundation Board of Directors; and Russell and Ann Gerdin of North Liberty.
The event is open to the public.
