Green Party to hold county convention

The Story County Green Party will hold its first county convention at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Ames Public Library Auditorium.

Party leaders will introduce the Green Party, set up working groups for the year in publicity, do outreach and electoral organizing and elect officials. Anyone is welcome to the convention. To vote, one must be a Green Party member or change their party affiliation, which can be done at the meeting.
