No more respect for Palestinians

Aaron Weiner and Patrick Stoffel

Last week Israel and the United States were condemned for leaving the racism conference because of racist comments from world leaders about Zionism.

The U.S. media and Palestinian movement tried to have the U.S. people believe that Israel’s retaliations on the Palestinian people were aggressive in nature. Time after time Palestinians performed multiple cowardly terrorist attacks against innocent Israeli citizens.

After each Palestinian terrorist attack, Israel would respond with force. Now the same people that condemned Israel for defending itself from outside terrorism are clamoring for retaliation against the terrorists that attacked the World Trade Centers and the Pentagon.

I find it ironic that those people who condemned Israel would want the United States to defend itself in the same manner Israel has.

It is nice to watch Palestinians dance in the streets and pass out candy to passerbys as the world watches thousands of innocent American lives perish in a pile of rubble. After today, I have no more respect for the Palestinian peoples’ plight.

As far as I am concerned, Israel has responded too lightly to the terrorist attacks against its people. I hope that in the future the United States and Israel are not perceived as the villains in world events, but the victims.
