The College of Family and Consumer Sciences will host a barbecue for freshman and transfer students from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 5. The annual Welcome Day Picnic will be held in the courtyard south of MacKay Hall.

New students are encouraged to attend as a way to learn what the college has to offer and become acquainted with people in the college. The event is free, and students must R.S.V.P. today by calling 294-7243 or by going to 124 MacKay Hall.
