Thank you to the Daily’s Jeff Stell for his feature on one of the most deserving student-athletes on the ISU campus – Sara Stribe.

I doubt that there are any other athletes who have been through the challenges that Sara has faced – her year of basketball at Drake, her transfer to ISU to play basketball, her decision to play volleyball in her first year here, and her decision to committ herself to Iowa State volleyball.

Stribe should be commended for her loyalty to her teammates, her trust in her coaches, and for her statement that she’s “proud to wear a Cyclone volleyball uniform.”

As a fan, she’s exactly the kind of student-athlete that I’m proud to have represent my school.
