Matrix fans won’t have to wait
“Matrix Reloaded,” the much anticipated sequel to the techno thriller “The Matrix,” is due out in 2003, and to whet fans’ appetites, Warner Brothers is releasing anime shows and a documentary about the movie.
Aaliyah, R & B singer who was killed Saturday in a plane crash, was reportedly slotted to star in “Matrix Reloaded.”
Imagine all the people singing
Stone Temple Pilots, Moby, Alanis Morissette and Beck are joining forces to help commemorate what would be John Lennon’s 61st birthday.
The one-time concert, “Come Together: A Night for John Lennon,” which will also include Nelly Furtado, Lou Reed and Shelby Lynne is scheduled to air Oct. 9 on TNT. Kevin Spacey and Yoko Ono will also be on hand.
The actual concert, titled “A Concert in Support of a Non-Violent World,” will be recorded at Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 20. Proceeds will go to the Violence Policy Center.
Backstreet’s back all right
Backstreeter A.J. McLean recently returned to the pop supergroup from a month-long stay in a rehabilitation clinic where he was treated for alcoholism, depression and anxiety.
Over 14,000 fans screaming “We love you, A.J.” marked his first concert back with BSB at Milwaukee’s Bradley Center. His fellow bandmates welcomed him with kind words, hugs and Silly String.
