MJ releases anticipated radio single

Michael Jackson is back in the saddle again after a lengthy hiatus from the pop world.

“You Rock My World,” the first single from his new album was officially handed over to radio stations on Friday. The single is from Jackson’s latest album, “Invincible.” The album is slated for an October 30 release.

Jackson’s last studio release was 1991’s “Dangerous.”

MTV sued for invasion of privacy

In a case that is still pending, a San Francisco woman sued MTV Networks and Viacom for invasion of privacy when VH1 aired footage of her kissing Flickerstick drummer Dominic Weir in a women’s bathroom.

Although the 22-year-old plaintiff, Diana Lynn Daly, signed a consent form allowing the footage to be aired, she claims she was drunk at the time she signed it. Pictures of the make-out session also appeared in Rolling Stone, People and on a billboard in Hollywood.

Flickerstick was the winner of VH1’s “Bands on the Run” series.
