Golf team places two on coaches All-Scholar team

The National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-Scholar team was recently named, with two Cyclones making the squad.
Senior Cathy Ennis was named a recipient for the fourth time in her college career.
The St. John’s, Newfoundland native had the fourth best stroke average for Iowa State last season at a 80.35 mark.
Ennis tallied two top 10 finishes and shot a season-best 72 at the Panther Invitational.
Senior Heather Elenbaas also ended the golf season by making the team.
Elenbaas, a native of Shawnee, Kan. recorded one top 10 finish for the Cyclones while finishing the year with a 81.09 stroke average.
Those who are eligible for the award must maintain at least a 3.4 GPA, be a sophomore or higher in eligibility and must have participated in 66 percent of the school’s tournaments.
