1st-round selections decided

The 2001 NBA Draft took place on Wednesday, June 27 at Madison Square Gardens in New York City.

The draft consisted of two rounds with 57 selections, 28 picks in the first round and 29 in the second round.

Representatives from the 29 NBA teams were onhand to participate in the action. Each team had five minutes to make their picks in the first round and two minutes for their selections in the second round.
