The ISU tennis team was honored by having four players named to the academic all-Big 12 team.

Sophomores Tara Goedjen and Courtney Leese were named to the first team. Leese is a business major.

Goedjen is majoring in business/MIS and is one of four women in the Big 12 honored for having a 4.0 GPA.

The Cyclones had two other players on the all-Big 12 second team.

Noortje Cornelissen and Karnin Westberg received the honor.

Cornelissen is majoring in business while Westberg is a dietetics major.

The tennis academic all-Big 12 team consists of 54 first-team members while 18 more are on the second-team.

First-teamers must have a 3.2 or better GPA, while the second team needs a 3.0 to 3.19 GPA.
