In response to Kyle Moss’ March 8 article, “Suburban Supastar,” on local emcee Justin “J Gigalo” Guisinger: Maybe you should research your topics a little more next time.

Just because you personally haven’t seen it doesn’t mean that something isn’t out there.

It’s ridiculous to say that being an emcee sets J Gigalo apart from other Iowa musicians.

There are over 20 emcees and a good number of DJs and producers just in the Des Moines metro area.

In addition, there are 25 to 30 emcees in Iowa City, and who knows how many more emcees are in the Quad Cities and spread all over the rest of Iowa.

Get your facts straight next time. J Gigalo is nothing out of the ordinary.
