Spelling Amerika with a `k,’ are we?

Recent events that have occurred in the United States have compelled me to speak up. The level of governmental control and abuse of power that exists today is horrific. This is not what our forefathers fought so hard for.ÿIÿknow most people do not see the government as a threat, at least not yet.Theÿfederalÿgovernmentÿhas been greatly oversteppingÿthe power granted by the Constitution. The Federal government was never meant to be involved in welfare programs, foreign aid or just about every other federal program out there. The federal government was meant to be a union of the independent states to protect themselves from foreign governments. Since 1900, the majority of past and present leaders of this nation have deceived the public into believing that the government knows best. No longer are the people of this country allowed to make decisions for themselves. The government infringes on your rights whenever it is in the “public good.” Parents are forced to have their children immunized for diseases that are statistically improbable that a child would contract. Take the recent order that newborn children are to be vaccinated for Hepatitis B. This is a disease that is transmitted in the exchange of bodily fluids, such as intravenous drug use, sexual contact or from an infected mother. Now if the mother is not infected, how could a newborn be infected? I seriously doubt that there are many newborn intravenous drug users who have active sex lives. It is far more likely that newborns receiving the vaccine will adverse reactions to it, about 20 times more likely according to FDA data. So why must newborns receive the vaccine? The reason that the government can control the people of this country is that as a whole we are just too plain dumb to know the difference. To prove my point of how dumb we are, how many people know that what the Federal Reserve Banks are? If you think they are part of our government you couldn’t be more wrong. The Federal Reserve Banks are privately owned and most are owned by foreigners. Who prints the money we use? The Constitution says only Congress can coin money, but looking at a dollar bill you will see at the top that it is a federal reserve note. So the national debt this country owes is almost entirely to foreign interests because we owe that money to the Federal Reserve Banks. This country started out on the right track but has been shifted off course slowly but surely. So I challenge this country: Put away your Playstation2s, TVs and beers and go out and see if I’m right. Hell, go out and prove I’m wrong. If you prove me wrong, at least you will have a better idea of how the government can deceive you.Scott Recker
