In response to Brian Nichols on Feb. 8 and 22, a thought struck me. Mr. Nichols contradicts himself. Feb. 8, he did a thorough job offering a one-sided bashing of the rich of this country. I might note now that many of these “rich” folks earned their money through hard work and perseverance. Feb. 22, he wrote a moving piece about not taking the art others have produced because it is stealing. Mr. Nichols is willing to take hard-earned money from rich people and redistribute it, but he is appalled that anyone would deny an artist their due payment. Aren’t both stealing? You cannot argue both ways Mr. Nichols.Matt Webster
