I’d like to applaud those striving to change the Student Conduct Code to make Iowa State more just and safe. If we do not stand up for our rights, who knows what else will happen. Not being able to have legal representation at All-University judiciary hearings, proof of conviction at 51 percent and being able to be convicted by the university when you’ve already been acquitted by a district court all threaten the rights of the students of Iowa State. We need to thank those that are fighting for our rights, and fight for them ourselves.
