Tattered Glory flapping in the dark

Scott Schaben

I am not normally one to get on a soap box and cry and whine about everything that bothers me. So, I’m just gonna get to the point. If any readers want to see something amusing from our wonderful university of science and technology on our prize winning central campus, stop by central campus today and look at our flag pole. What you should notice as I have the past few days is a tattered American flag flying above an upside down Iowa flag. If you are too embarrassed to check this out during the day, try checking it out at night. The one problem with that though, is that our flag is not lit at night. I guess I had come to expect too much from a government institution.
