The Senior Class Council and the Student Alumni Leadership Council will host Senior Day 2000 today in the Memorial Union and the Lied Recreation Center.
The day will begin with a chili cook-off from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union. All seniors eat for free; all other students must pay $2.
Senior Olympics will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the rec center. Students can compete in several activities including a tie-tying contest, backpack relay, general knowledge quiz and a calculator toss.
The events will conclude on Thursday with a presentation by Bill Boon, professor of landscape architecture. Boon, who teaches Design Studies 129, will present “Using Creativity in the Real World” at 8 p.m. in 1414 Molecular Biology Building.
