After reading Owen Rhoden’s letter, which says that Nader cost Gore the race, I decided to take his advice and do the math.

Looking at the election results, I have concluded that Gore robbed Buchanan. If all the people who voted for Gore had instead, inexplicably voted for Buchanan, he would have been elected. Well, almost; I guess we’ll also need the Nader vote. So Gore and Nader together cost Buchanan the race.

Wake up. It does no good to point fingers at people who chose to vote their conscience rather than the lesser of two evils People voted for Nader because he was the candidate who best suited their beliefs. To say that they should have voted for Gore because he is slightly less conservative than Bush is absolutely ridiculous.
