Flu shots for high risk employeesOccupational Medicine will begin immunizing high-risk university employees Thursday in Room G11 of the Technical and Administrative Services Building, which is near Spedding Hall.
High-risk patients include those who are 65 years old or older, have chronic pulmonary or cardiac disorders, have immune-compromising disorders, health-care workers and pregnant women in their second trimester.
Occupational Medicine has received 300 doses of the influenza vaccination to be administered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday.
Regular flu shot clinics for other employees will be held in mid- to late November, depending on vaccine availability.
