The MGMC Auxiliary will offer Heart Saver, an adult basic cardiac life support class from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6 at the center. There is a $3.50 fee for the course, which includes one-rescuer CPR, obstructed airway management and stroke awareness for adults. The session is taught by MGMC paramedics. Athletes with recent injuries are given a basic assessment by a physical therapist or a certified athletic trainer.
