The Government of the Student Body met Wednesday night in the Campanile Room of the Memorial Union. Senators unanimously passed a funding bill to allocate $590 from the Senate Discretionary Account to reimburse the Freshman Council and GSB for the printing and distribution of a welcome letter, which was sent to all ISU freshman. They also passed a bill to allocate money from the discretionary account to the Gaffers Guild, which is relocating and is purchasing parts for a new furnace. The senate’s next meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Campanile Room of the Memorial Union.
