Pappajohn Center to grant new scholarship

The ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship has initiated a new scholarship.

The scholarship is funded by The Warner Group, which provides financial services to Sioux City, Waverly, Waterloo and Lincoln, Neb.

The Warner Group Entrepreneur Scholarship is intended for an ISU junior or senior in a non-business major pursing a minor in entrepreneurship.

The award will be $500 for the fall 2000 semester.

“We are looking for people who have an interest in becoming a business owner,” said Judi Eyles, assistant director for the Pappajohn Center.

Eyles said the Pappajohn Center works to help students finance their educations. After they’ve started their businesses, those students in turn become a resource for the next generation of ISU students.
