Kix’s math was a bit off on this one
July 11, 2000
Regarding Paul Kix’s column “Fizer shouldn’t get too cozy in Chicago” in the July 6 edition of the daily, Mr.. Kix states: “Like trying to square a prime number, Marcus, you don’t.”
Mr. Kix needs some remedial math. Squaring a prime number is easy. 7 (a prime number) squared is 49. Taking the square root of a prime number is another matter.
