Look again, Greenley
June 5, 2000
I would like to suggest that Mr. Greenley take a little closer look at the Second Amendment, especially the part about “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
You see, the Second Amendment does not grant or allow anything at all; the Second Amendment guarantees that the natural and inalienableÿ right of free men, to possess arms will not be in any way impaired, violated or failed to be observed by the government.
Now, what part of “shall not be infringed” do you not understand Mr. Greenley?
