May 26

* Ray Vannausdle, 3398 Friley Hall, reported the theft of his pick-up truck from Lot 60. The incident occurred sometime since May 24. Loss was estimated at $900. The vehicle was later located behind Thumbs Bar and Grill. The owner was notified.

May 27

* Martin Boyd Peterson, 43, New Brighton, Minn., was arrested at the Scheman Building on a warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to the Story County Jail where he was being held on a $20,000 bond.

* A juvenile reported being grabbed by an ISU staff member at the dining center in Linden Hall. The incident allegedly occurred May 24. There were no injuries.

May 28

* A man was observed passed out between a parked car and a curb. Steven G. Honeick, 18, 224 Russell Ave., was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

May 29

* During a routine traffic stop at Welch Road and Storm Street, L.A. Jefferson, 103 Stanton Ave., was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Jefferson was issued a citation and released.

May 30

* Siu Kau, 3175 Buchanan Hall, reported that someone had pulled a bicycle brake cable from its bracket near Carver Hall. Damage was estimated at $10.

* A vehicle driven by Shannon Schmidt, Rockford, was backing out of a parking stall in Lot 21 when it struck a car being driven by Mackenzie Conrad, Carroll. There were no injuries. Damage was estimated at $400.

* A vehicle driven by Wei Li, Ames, was eastbound on Lincoln Way near Beach Avenue when she ran a red light and struck a northbound car driven by Tony Atilano, Ames. Li was issued a citation. There were no injuries. Estimated damage was $3,000.

May 31

* During a routine traffic stop at Gray Avenue and Lincoln Way, Michael Weller, 22, 133 Beedle Drive #3, was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Weller was arrested and charged with first-offense operating while intoxicated.

* Grady Daub, 3156 Buchanan Hall, reported the theft of a calculator and a pen from a bag he had left in the vending area in Buchanan Hall. Estimated loss was $200.

June 1

* During a routine traffic stop on Lincoln Way, Tracey Michele Henrich, 21, 1305 Georgia Ave., was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Henrich was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated.

June 2

* During a routine traffic stop at Stanton Avenue and Storm Street, Joshua Paul Johnson, 22, 319 South Walnut Ave., was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Johnson was arrested and charged with second-offense operating while intoxicated.

* Brian Swanson, no address available, reported a fire in the dumpster at the Fisher Theater loading dock. The Ames Fire Department extinguished the blaze.

* Robert McAleer, Bondurant, reported that he lost a piece of jewelry while exercising at the Lied Recreation Center on June 1. Loss was estimated at $253.

* Allison Donaldson, N157 Lagomarcino Hall, reported the theft of money from her purse in Lagomarcino Hall. The incident occurred sometime that morning.

June 3

* DPS received a report of a person passed out in the west lounge of the Memorial Union. Holly Ann Hurst, 21, 3212 Polaris Drive #206, was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

* A collision occurred between a golf cart and a car near Maple Hall. There were no injuries.
