The heat is on
April 20, 2000
To the editor:
In response to Joe Erlbacher’s letter, I live in Friley and for the past three years, I have paid extra for cold-water air conditioning. This is wonderful in fall when it’s hot. The air is never turned on in the spring.
I feel your plight, unfortunately, I have the opposite problem. My heat is still on. Never mind that I pay extra for air conditioning; last Friday when I got back from class it was 90 degrees in my room. The past three weeks my room temperature has averaged 75 degrees. I guess this is dorm life. Thank goodness I’m finally graduating and getting out of here.
