Daily coverage pleases one

To the editor:

I am a straight, white woman writing in support of the LGBTAA community.

The men who took it upon themselves to speak for the “majority” on Apr. 5th DO NOT speak for us all.

I’ve met the two gentlemen pictured kissing by the Campanile. They are two of the nicest, most talented, intelligent men you could meet. My guess is their verbal attackers have not had the pleasure of meeting them.

Based on what I read, it looks like the message of tolerance is going to have to be spoken, and written, and repeated and jammed down the throat of this campus until it is finally heard and understood.

Everyone has the right to happiness and a world free of fear. LGBTAA is standing up for the rights they should already hold — the very rights that April 5th’s authors are keeping from them.

Nice job, Daily. I’m more than happy with the well-rounded coverage you have been providing.
