Shocking disregard for personal property

To the editor:

In response to Jenny Joanning’s column, “Car-tipping unacceptable way to celebrate,” I felt I had to add my 2 cents.ÿ

Her column mentioned other schools tipping over cars, but not Iowa State… well, I beg to differ.ÿ

In that same issue of the Daily (as a matter of fact on the back side of her column) the DPS report stated a car was indeed tipped on this campus!ÿ

It just happens to be that it was MY car that was tipped!ÿ

SHOCKING, huh?!ÿ

Yes, it means our students were no different than those on other campuses across the country that flipped cars.

I’d just like to thank those students who were involved (yes, I’m being sarcastic). You must be proud!ÿ

What a classy way to act!ÿ

Students want to be treated like adults and not children, but then they go out and do stupid things like this. And don’t tell me that tipping cars over is an “adult” thing because it’s not!ÿ

It’s rather juvenile.ÿ”Hey!ÿ We won a basketball game! Let’s vandalize the campus!”ÿNo, I don’t think so!

I really don’t think Iowa State or any college, for that matter, needs overzealous students like you.ÿ

My only wish is that Iowa State throws you (you know who you are) out of school, but since it was a riot/mob of people THAT probably won’t happen.ÿ

So consider yourself lucky you’re still in school, instead of the zoo!
