To the editor:

In regard to the cars towed from Lot 61 in Towers, I think it’s absolutely absurd. I understand the complaint made by the car owner with the temporary student government tag, but he should know how difficult parking in student government spots is at Towers and be more understanding of the student who made the call.

The other car owner should apologize; he was parked illegally and rightfully towed. I must side with the student who called Bud’s and asked them to tow that car.

This student knows, as the rest of us do, that DPS is not at all concerned with student government parking problems.

If they were, these cars, along with countless others, would be towed by the DPS-contracted towing company. I challenge DPS to spend a quarter of the time making parking accessible to students as they do taking care of the parking needs of faculty.
