To the editor:

All hail Sara Ziegler, the High Empress of Iowa State Politics! May we all someday be as high and mighty as she is!

Sara, it seems that all I have seen from you this semester in the Daily are articles that seem to imply that every student but you is just some non-voting zombie with no opinions or cares.

In your last column, you called all freshmen “ridiculously ill-informed.” The statement that all freshman are ill-informed is naive in itself; I have never had the chance to vote for GSB positions, and neither have all us other “non-political” freshmen. How do you know whether I will vote or not?

So you pull a few quotes from students who said they weren’t; did you interview me? Not that I recall.

I know I speak for a lot of fellow students when I say that we are tired of your columns and generalizations.

You want students to go out and vote, fine. Write about it. But your articles are sending many the wrong message and attitude.

Try to come down to the level of us simple-minded peasants, and you may get your message across better.
