To the editor:

In response to Tim Shanks’ “Normally I don’t like to discriminate” letter, I have a few questions: How did you know the driver you were complaining about was a foreigner?

Did you check her passport, or did you classify her as a foreigner because she did not have the same skin color as you?

Even if she was a foreigner, how would that have anything to do with other foreign drivers?

There are good people and bad people, good drivers and bad drivers. There are good Americans and bad Americans, good foreigners and bad foreigners.

Your generalization from one bad driver to the whole category of foreigners showed how ignorant you are and what kind of mental challenge you have been facing.

Next time before you open your mouth, please do us a favor: Use your brain so you won’t make a fool of yourself.

Otherwise, using your logic, all the foreigners might think that all the Americans are as stupid as you.
