To the editor:

I would like to voice my support for the GSB slate of Rick Cordaro and Alex Olson. This is not because they are for reasonable tuition and fees — that’s a good idea, but who doesn’t want to slow the rising cost of college? And it is not because Rick and Alex promise to communicate with students — again, a good idea, but who’s against communication? And I’m not supporting Rick and Alex because they promise to stand up to the ISU administration — of course I’m for this, but who isn’t?

Rick and Alex will get my vote (and should get yours) because they will be the best leaders. Period. They are honest, responsible, open, intelligent and committed to student government. Rick and Alex know how GSB works, and they will use their positions to be strong leaders who are always fair and reasonable.

Vote for Rick and Alex because they have good ideas, or vote for them because they are just plain good guys. Either way, you can’t go wrong.
