To the editor:

The online Daily continues to be a bright light in a world filled with darkness. But really, why did you wimp out and print Sen. Harkin’s letter when it was such a transparent advertisement for Gore? You owe it to the ISU students (whose fees help keep the Daily free) to charge money to print such ads, rather than print such drivel as letters from shills for the candidates. And by the way, I think that should be true for every candidate, not just Gore.

One other request — could you add the personals to the online edition? I always found them amusing and entertaining.

It would also be nice if you dumped on the Hawkeyes more often.
