IRHA asks for Ethernet access for all

The Inter-Residence Hall Association will consider three bills at its meeting tonight.

In new business, a bill requesting that the Department of Residence provide all residents with automatic Ethernet access will be read.

In old business, parliament will debate a $700 funding bill for a Feb. 9 date rape presentation by the Margaret Sloss Women’s Center. In other old business, a bill enacting steps to increase student involvement in changing the Terms and Conditions of the Room and Board contract will come to a vote.

Parliament also will discuss the two open executive council positions for next semester, director of finance and director of academic affairs.

IRHA will meet tonight at 7 in the Oak Room of the Memorial Union.
