Dear Iowa State Students:

Nearly a year and a half ago, I accepted the head men’s basketball coaching

position here at Iowa State University. Iowa State has a national reputation for excellence in academics as well as in athletics. ISU men’s basketball is regarded highly around the country, and I have found our fans to be loyal and extremely supportive.

I am also dedicated to our student fans. Without a doubt, you make all the

difference in the world to our program. We want Hilton Coliseum to continue to be filled with “Hilton Magic,” and we need you for that to happen. Our student ticket sales kicked off last Wednesday, and there are still a lot of great seats

available. A men’s basketball season ticket includes 12 games for $72. Make sure you buy your ticket soon, as our season begins this week. Tickets are on sale at the ISU Athletic Ticket Office or at locations across campus.

As a sign of my commitment to you, I would also like to invite all ISU students to attend our first two exhibition games (tonight vs. Global Sports and Monday, Nov. 15 vs. Simon Fraser) for free! Students will be seated in the arena and parquet levels while it is available. I hope these games will give you a good look at our team and the promise for an exciting year. Remember, we need YOU to help make “Hilton Magic” come alive!
