The problem of evil
November 5, 1999
Natural disasters. World hunger. Unnecessary suffering. How do these realities affect our understanding of God? Professor E. D. Klemke will address this issue in a talk entitled “The Problem of Evil” on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 2:30 p.m. in the Campanile Room of the Memorial Union. This philosophical and theological problem should be interesting for believers and non-believers alike. The lecture will last about an hour and there will be roughly twenty minutes of answering questions afterwards.
This event is sponsored by the ISU Atheist and Agnostic Society and we welcome all who are interested to attend.
