I am writing this letter in response to Elton Wong’s latest editorial entitled “Biblical grounds insufficient to defend hate.”

I am appalled that you can even think the Bible is insufficient in anything!

For all who believe in Jesus Christ believe in the Bible. The Bible is what we have to live by; it sets our standards of living.

It’s obvious that you didn’t do enough research of the one TRUE book we have to live by.

Homosexuality is a sin, wrong and immoral. Here’s a verse taken from the Bible to prove my point. “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable,” Leviticus 18:22 NIV.

I don’t think that it can be put any simpler than that.

That simply means that a man should not have sexual relations with another man. I’m not trying to impose my beliefs on anyone who reads this, but if you consider yourself a Christian and are homosexually active, you have a problem. Either stop being a Christian or stop being a homosexual. As Christians, we are told to repent from our sins and turn to God – Acts 3:19.
