After reading the Sept. 29 letter by Patrick Leer and then a follow up letter from Shawn Miller Oct. 4, I have come to realize that people are incredibly stupid.

Case in point, Mr. Miller. It was obvious to me after reading the first few sentences that Mr. Leer was mocking people who write in saying why their beliefs are better than yours.

Recently it has been Christians. OK, it has always been Christians.

Leer’s letter was meant to show how stupid this argument is just because you use the label of Christian and non-Christian. Instead he used the labels “me” and “not-me.”

The reason it wasn’t obvious to you must have been your less than infantile intelligence and your urgency to show how superior you are to Leer.

Well, it looks like you failed at being superior, but you did look like a complete idiot.
