Two new popular entertainment Web sites, Sightsound.com and InfoBeat.com have made it even easier for movie and music lovers to stay in tune with their favorite films and groups.
With Sightsound.com, Web surfers can find information about new movie releases with the keyword search.
The easiest way to find movies is by looking under the general headings of “Action,” “Thriller,” “Adventure” and “Romance.” To find information on music, surfers can choose a keyword such as “Classical,” “Hard rock,” “Rap” and “Hip-hop.”
Infobeat.com provides similar services by sending entertainment information via e-mail.
The updated music news on Infobeat.com can provide information on every artist from Rob Zombie to Shania Twain.
The site provides information regarding different musician’s birthdays and notable dates in music history.
Infobeat.com delivers more than four million e-mail messages daily. In order to get hooked up, surfers must log on and choose the entertainment beat.
After logging on, they can choose from extra music categories, such as “Birthdays,” “Billboard” or “Best Looking,” and narrow their search to a category such as modern rock or adult alternative.
Then, browsers can pick from the list of 50 artists they’d like to receive weekly news updates about. Surfers can choose as many or as few artists as they like.
