How about just a little apology from the United States?

Relentless slaughter in No Gun-Ri, South Korea, has been clearly disclosed after long and unshakable research by an Associated Press reporter.

So far, the committee related with this case has presented many petitions and an indemnity lawsuit to the U.S. embassy and President Bill Clinton, an action that has not yielded any fruit.

The official Pentagon standpoint is that there is lack of evidence and that no compensation can be claimed for conduct carried during the combat.

However, sufficient proof has now been gathered, together with testimony by U.S. soldiers.

The AP found a U.S. army order that read “regard refugees as the enemy and kill all” in the 25th division’s pouch.

Soldiers also testified that these instructions were made with regard to civilians and that they witnessed the scene.

At that time, the North Korean army had not come down the No Gun-Ri area, and it was not even a combat situation.

There is no allowance made for massive massacre in international standards.

There should be a mutual investigation executed by both the Korean and U.S. administrations.

The United States should show even the smallest sincere gesture for the uncovered truth to the end of real friendship.

The same tragedy will keep being repeated unless the reality is made public.
