I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your great support of the 1999 Cyclone football team.

Over the past four seasons, there has been a special bond and relationship built between the students here at Iowa State and my football team.

Your enthusiasm, spirit and genuine support sets the tempo for our home field advantage in Jack Trice Stadium.

We open the season this Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. against Indiana State and I know I can count on a fabulous turnout of ISU students to lead the cheers and “Rock our House.”

Have fun, please tailgate and support the team safely, and together let’s make 1999 a season to remember!

You are the best student body in America and my staff and team are proud to be associated with you.
