• In the article “Regents approve salary increase for university employees” in the May 27 issue of the Daily, pay raise increases for Iowa State employees were incorrectly stated. ISU merit employees will receive a 3 percent pay increase, with 1 percent step increases.

Pay increases for professional and scientific employees will be adjusted based on market conditions and employee performance. The overall salary adjustment allocation is about 4 percent.

• In Thursday’s article “Artist begins third mural honoring Carver,” the subject of a mural by artist Youssef Asar was misidentified. The mural, which hangs in Kildee Hall, features former ISU professor Lauren Christian, who died from cancer in November.
