I read with interest Lauri Kalb’s article last week about the Evangelist George Smock and his visit to your campus. He is in Minnesota this week at the University of Minnesota and several friends and I will be visiting with him there.

I know some folks are offended by Mr. Smock’s preaching and I encourage you to make sure you know the difference between offensiveness and convictions of sinfulness.

It is hard for a person we do not know to truly offend us, this is usually reserved for our friends and family.
