The Government of the Student Body will meet tonight at 7 in the Gallery Room of the Memorial Union. All students are encouraged to attend. The following bills will be discussed:
Seating bills
- A bill seeks to seat Vernon Wall as senate adviser for the upcoming year. By Pogge, Olson and others.
- A bill seeks to seat Archana Chandrupatla as an international senator for the upcoming year. By Ibsais, Olson and others.
Old business
- A bill seeks funding for New Student Days, which is a new organization to welcome incoming freshman to Iowa State. By Golding.
- A bill seeks to endorse the Off Campus Government student fee assessment. By Olson and Pogge.
- A bill seeks to support the Hilton expansion assessment. By Pogge and Wisher.
New business
- A bill seeks funding for a card swipe access control system for the East and West Student Office Spaces. By Pogge, Wisher and others.
- A bill seeks to request the Iowa State Computation Center to establish rules, policies and procedures concerning the GSB Web server. By Olson, Pogge and others.
- A bill seeks to establish rules of finance employment to the bylaws concerning the GSB finance director and finance committee vice chairperson. By Edmiston, Pogge and others.
- A bill seeks funding for the renovation of the Ames/ISU YMCA Lynn Fuhrer Lodge. By Edmiston.
