Bradley, Wellstone coming to Ames

U.S. Senators Bill Bradley and Paul Wellstone will hold a forum on race, diversity and multiculturalism Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon in the Gold Room of the Memorial Union.

The forum is part of Bradley’s campaign for the presidency in 2000. Wellstone will be accompanying Bradley as one of his presidential campaign supporters, she said.

She said Bradley and Wellstone will meet as many people as possible during the first half hour, and the main discussion will begin at about 10:30. The public is invited to attend


NATO protest planned today

There will be a demonstration against NATO’s bombing of Yugoslavia today from 12:20 to 2:30 p.m. south of the Campanile. The event will include speakers such as Wayne Osborn, assistant professor of history, and Nenad Kostic, professor of chemistry.
