Steve Skutnik has a good idea in banning government benefits for marriage. He wants a level playing field to stop the arguments.

It won’t happen for three reasons. Gay people will be even more strongly attacked for “attempting to destruct the American Family.”

Most important, however, is that the married couples won’t be willing to give up their “special rights.”
