What is wrong with you guys?

Gregorios Siourounis

It is sad that once more a war has started in the middle of Europe under the blessings of NATO.

The international students that live and work here feel less secure every day since the U.S. repeatedly fails to serve as the World Guard.

Today it’s Yugoslavia; tomorrow it might be our home country that is being attacked.

However, the saddest of all is that everybody is happy in this country and nobody complains about what is going on on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean since we can drive safely in our Ford F-150s to Wal-Mart and shop happily.

What’s wrong with you guys? Do you think that war is a solution in the 21st century?

Why does NATO attack those countries that are not allies and leaves others doing orgies of violations to human rights?

Where is justice after all!

It is nice to hear about a military conflict some 10,000 miles away from CNN, but you have to think that maybe your family, your friend’s family or the country you were planning to go to for vacation tomorrow might not exist.

We truly believe that in the 21st century, we can all sit around a table and solve every problem.

The use of violence does not add anything to our quality of life; most probably it damages it.

Let’s leave aside the border differences and work toward a better world for EVERYBODY.
