The deadline for entry into the 1999 Iowa State Science and Technology Fair is Friday.

The fair, which will feature projects from middle and high school students from across Iowa, will be held at ISU from March 27-28.

An estimated 450 students will attend the event.

The science areas covered are divided into physical and biological sciences. This year, $30,000 in prizes and scholarships will be awarded, including a $10,000 four-year tuition grant from the Iowa Space Grant Consortium.
