Wendell calls it quits

Wendell Mosby

Annie, you got me, but I have been taking shots like yours for years.

IT’S ALL GOOD.

I do have all the facts straight. But why you got to hate on my GEAR!?

I did read and re-read your letter very carefully.

Your letter brought up some other issues on campus that need to be discussed more openly.

You seem to know a lot about me, but I know very little about you, and in my letter that was evident.

My intent was never to disrespect you or anyone else but to provoke more dialogue on this campus.

Now that I understand where you are coming from, such an attack will not happen again in the future.

Maybe we can now sit down and bounce some ideas off one another.

What do you know or understand about my clothing line to slam it?

Apparently not much, because if you knew anything about it, you would not have made such an attack.

And for your information, I have been in business for three years and have been established for over eight years.

No hard feelings, though. All is fair in love and war.

I don’t know you, and you don’t understand me.

Yes, I was a Cyclone Aide and I do represent myself pretty well. I will continue to do so, but it’s bigger than you and me.

I’ll be the first one to admit that my letter was harsh, but really, would anybody have taken either one of our letters seriously if not provoked?

These days nobody wants hear any rational reasoning.

My letter was not to attack you as a person. Annie, chill, ain’t nothing personal; it’s just business.

I am not trying to make enemies here, maybe piss a few people off.

I should have known better than to piss off an English major, but you only live once and I’m loving every minute of it.

Ms. Johnson, thanks for taking my challenge, but I think I should retire now before I have to do a TYSON on you.

Annie Johnson 1-0 Wendell Mosby.
